Pot Grown Christmas Trees with Roots
Pot-grown and potted Christmas trees, while both in containers, differ significantly in their root systems and long-term viability.
We only supply Pot-grown trees which are specifically grown in pots and have intact, established root systems, making them more likely to survive being moved indoors and replanted outdoors after the holidays. Potted trees, on the other hand, may have been dug up from the ground and placed in a pot, often with damaged or pruned roots, making them less likely to survive.

Andy Broom’s Christmas Trees, Decor & Gifts Galore in Barrow upon Humber, North Lincolnshire specialise in Fresh Nordman Fir Christmas Trees . Grown Locally Since 2020. Come & pick your own tree direct from the Field.
Each tree (3-14ft) is carefully grown by trusted experts and only cut 24–48 hours before we deliver it, or cut instantly if you wish to take it away, guaranteeing unbeatable freshness with minimal needle drop (just keep it watered after cutting). The lush, deep‑green branches are soft to the touch – perfect for decorating with your favourite ornaments.
Our 6‑acre Christmas tree farm is home to thousands of real Christmas trees, so you can visit us and hand‑pick your perfect tree in the field.
Once you’ve chosen “the one,” direct from the field, we’ll attach your personal name tag so it’s ready for collection or delivery when you need it. Prefer to take it home the same day? We’re happy to cut it, net it, and help you load it straight into your car.
Prices start from just £40 for a 3ft real Christmas tree.

The event is free to attend and does not require a ticket, a ticket is only required if you’d like to meet Santa in person and capture those magical memories.

Story
From a Mystery Field to a Festive Family Tradition
It all began with two unlikely men—one owning a house and a field, the other borrowing an old Nokia 6500 slide phone (remember those?).
Almost thirteen years ago, Andy and I swapped homes over a pint with a man he met at the Squash Club bar. That house? The iconic Hope House — a place Andy and I had dreamed of living for years.
With a beautiful old house and a 6-acre hayfield but no clue what to do next, a spontaneous trip to Portugal changed everything.
There, a Welsh couple, Brian and Anne, inspired us with the simple advice: “Grow Christmas trees. Money does grow on trees, no matter what your parents told you.”
Brian added, “You won’t get rich — but you’ll feel richness in other ways.”
And he was right!
Today, Andy Broom’s Christmas Trees is a beloved local tradition where families return every winter to create memories.
Kids run ahead with measuring poles, grandparents snap photos, dogs don festive tinsel, and Santa waves from among the trees. Enjoy mulled wine, mince pies, festive food trucks, and even an elf with a walkie-talkie to make your visit unforgettable.
Our Christmas tree farm has grown into a true community hub—and a place close to our hearts.
