All services include care for your fur babies with health issues or disabilities. Please specify any extra instructions while booking.

*PLEASE NOTE I WILL NOT BE IN THE HOME 24 HOURS A DAY WHILE PET SITTING. IF YOUR DOG HAS NEEDS THAT REQUIRE 24 HOUR CARE, PLEASE REACH OUT BEFORE BOOKING, BUT I MAY NOT BE THE RIGHT CHOICE* 

  • Overnight dog sitting right in your home! Ensuring your furry family are comfortable and happy, while in safe hands. Your pup will be fed according to their regular schedule and will always have water. They are let out on a regular basis. Walks are included in this service as well as over night care. Home will be occupied and pups will be loved. You will have the peace of mind knowing that someone responsible and loving is coming home to your precious animals and house each day.

    $60/night + $20 per additional dog

  • Overnight cat sitting right in your home! Ensuring your purry friends are comfortable and happy, day and night! Cats will be fed and have plenty of water. Litter boxes will be clean and they will get all the love and play time possible. You will have the peace of mind knowing that someone responsible and loving is coming home to your precious animals and home each day.

    $40/night + $20 per additional cat

  • Have pets that don’t fall under the dog or cat category that need taken care of? Look no further! Tails in the Trees does not discriminate care to any pet in your home! This service can be added on to any pet sitting or house sitting service. This service ensures all of your animals are taken care of and loved while you aren’t there. (If they just need a quick feed, we also offer pet check-ins)

    $10 per night

  • Here to help you feel at ease while you enjoy some time away! This service may include heating your house to ensure pipes don’t freeze, inside and/or outside plant care, or even just having someone stay at the house for some peace of mind. Usually also includes taking the trash out and bringing mail/packages inside. Having someone there while you’re gone is key to feeling comfortable with some time away!

    $40/night

  • Many of us have multiple kinds of pets in our homes. I am happy to take care of all of your beloved animals while you are gone! This includes all care for all of your animals such as feeding, giving water, play, walks, love, etc. The price will vary depending on what animals you have. For example, if you have two dogs and a cat it will be the normal dog price which is $60/night + $20 for the additional dog. Then it would just add $20 extra for the cat since they would be added on. I will give you exact pricing as we set up your appointment!

  • This service is meant for those days when you just need a quick drop-in and applies to any pet you own. It includes stopping by for 30 minutes to feed, water, and check on your pet while you’re away. It may include giving medication and food as well as letting your pet outside. Also great for other pets such as hamsters or lizards if they just need checked up on while you’re out of town. Forget the stress and have me drop in to help!

    $20 for 30min check-in + $5 per additional pet

  • Sometimes it is hard to get our animals the exercise they need. Fitting in a walk with our busy schedules is sometimes impossible! I offer a 30 minute or 1 hour walk option for your beloved pet. They get some exercise and you get a more relaxed furry friend the rest of the day! I will provide leashes or will use the ones you specify at booking.

    $20 for 30min walk, $30 for hour walk + $5 per additional pet

  • This is a free service in order for me to get the full run down on your home and/or pets before your service. Usually I book about 30 minutes to come to your home and get to know your pets and layout. I will have you fill out a google form before this so I will ask any additional questions I have or learn any of your extra rules for while you are gone. If life gets too busy and it is hard to nail down a time before you leave, I am also willing to do this over facetime or the phone.

Hi! My name is Kaci and I’m the founder of Tails in the Trees.

I was born and raised in Colorado and currently reside in Conifer. I’ve had dogs from the day I was born and grew to be a HUGE animal lover. We had all kinds of pets from dogs and cats, to lizards, and even frogs.

I moved to Conifer a few years ago and have fallen in love with the area. It has all of my favorite things. Beautiful nature, an array of outdoor activities, amazing people, and tons of animals!

I’m super lucky to have a great community here in Conifer. I happily volunteered to watch a friend’s pets and within a week I was getting requests from other people in the area. I realized that there is a great need for reliable pet care up in Conifer.

Tails in the Trees came from a need for pet care by someone who loves your animals as much as you do and who allows your babies to keep their normal routine while you’re gone. Up here, almost all of us have pets that hold a special place in our hearts. I take pride in keeping your pets happy and safe. The only thing they should be missing is YOU! In-home pet care is amazing that way. I treat each animal as if they were my own. My mission is for your pets to miss you as little as possible (although I know they’ll be so excited to see you when you’re back!)

Booking Appointments

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE BEFORE BOOKING:

*You must live in the Conifer, Evergreen, Bailey, Pine, or Morrison area to book. If you are outside of these designated locations please reach out before booking*

*If your pet needs 24 hour care please reach out directly before booking. Although I stay overnight, I will not be in your home 24 hours a day unless previously agreed upon*

*Full payment is required within 24 hours of me accepting the booking request. I will send you the google forms necessary as well as a payment link. If you would like to pay cash, check, or venmo that is totally fine as well, but please call me within that 24 hours so we can get that scheduled and ensure to save your spot*

*If you cancel between 7 days and 48 hours of booking, your reservation is 50% refundable or it is $60 to reschedule. Once you hit the 48 hour mark your booking is non-changeable and non-refundable. Reach out with emergencies!*

HOW TO BOOK:

There are multiple ways to book with me. If you would like to book through email, please click “Book Now” below or email me at tailsinthetrees@gmail.com. Please include your name, phone number, how many and what kind of pets (if any), what service you are looking for, and what dates you are looking at. You can also call 720-837-7163 for any booking as well and I will explain all of this over the phone.

If I am not available I will reach out to see what we can do. If I am available and you don’t have any questions, I will go ahead and accept your reservation.

If you are a first time client, I will email you the “House Intake Form” as well as any pet forms necessary depending on what kind of pets you have. For example, if you have one dog and one cat I will send you 3 forms. One is for your house information, one is for your dog information, and one is for your cat information. You will only have to fill these out once and then I will save that information for future appointments.

If you are a new client, I recommend scheduling a walkthrough/meet-up prior to my first service. This is a free service and could be in-person or over the phone. Just to ensure we are on the same page with all information provided in your forms. If you are a returning client and don’t feel that there are any updates that require me to come over, feel free to skip this step. If you would like to start with a walkthrough please let me know in your email or phone call and we will set a time.

Once we have a walkthrough or all information is entered, I will send you the “Appointment Form”. If you are a returning customer, I will most likely send this form right after your email or call to request a booking. That form will be sent each time you book an appointment with me in order to ensure we are on the same page about when you leave, get back, where to leave the key if there is one, and if any information has changed since the last appointment. It will also have you choose what payment method you would like to use.

Once you fill out the appointment form I will look to see what payment method you would like to use. If you chose to pay by card, I will send you the payment link. If it’s Venmo, I will send you a Venmo request. I require payment within 24 hours of me sending you the link or request. This is to ensure your reservation. If you would like to pay by cash or check I will give you a call within that 24 hours to schedule a day to grab that.

CANCELATION POLICIES:

Life happens! I understand that sometimes things will need to be switched around. Up until 7 days ahead of time, you can cancel or reschedule for free. Within 7 days and 48 hours ahead of time I will offer a 50% refund or it is $60 to reschedule. Within the 48 hour mark your booking is non-changeable and non-refundable. Please call, text, or email with emergency cancelations so I can see what I can do!
